Science & Origin of Adamite
Adamite is a rare zinc arsenate mineral first discovered in Chile in 1866. Typically, pure Adamite is colorless and usually less than an inch in diameter. The green hue sometimes seen in Adamite is due to copper inclusions. This mineral is most commonly found in bright yellow but can also appear green, white, brown, or colorless. Some of the finest Adamite specimens have been unearthed in Namibia and Mexico.
